Kemptville District Hospital is a 40-bed acute care hospital located in the rapidly growing Eastern Ontario municipality of North Grenville, 40 minutes south of Ottawa. Our services include 24-hour emergency care, inpatient care, advanced orthopaedic surgery (as a satellite of The Ottawa Hospital), and outpatient care. We are an integrated health services organization with deep partnerships in our community and region. With our partners in the Ottawa West Four Rivers Ontario Health Team, we are collaborating on a new model of health care delivery that puts patients, families and caregivers at the centre of the health care system.

Krista DroverRegistered Cardiology Technologist
As a Registered Cardiology Technologist I perform non-invasive tests on the heart for KDH patients. This includes ECGs (electrocardiograms), cardiac stress testing, and Holter Monitor set-up and scanning.
The greatest satisfaction in my work is knowing that in some small way I have helped someone. Whether I was just able to answer a question, make them smile, or offer them great professional service, I leave my workday feeling satisfied.
I live in Kemptville and the ability to live and work in the same community is a huge benefit. I know that local patients also really appreciate being able to receive cardiac services close to home – they tell me that every week!
My childhood ambition was to be a teacher. I had no desire to work in healthcare as I had a real phobia of hospitals! Little did I know that after working in three different careers, this would be the one that I loved the most.

It’s so professional, stress reducing, friendly and pain free, you wonder what in the world you were worried about. I was in on Monday, out on Wednesday and back on the air on Friday with a brand new beautiful knee! Not only that, but the parking is a whole lot cheaper – no big crowds – Grahame’s Bakery sent me some butter tarts and the new knee has taken at least five strokes off my golf game!!! A gold medal for KDH!"

Lanark Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health
Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health offers services and programmes to people who are experiencing mental health and/or addiction issues. Mental health services are provided for individuals who are 16 years and older and addictions services to persons of any age. People may access services with a referral from their doctor, self-referral or by dropping in on one of our Open Access Days scheduled throughout the 3 counties. We also recognize that family members and caregivers play a significant role within our client’s circle of care.
